WHEREAS, War is one of the most ghastly and grievous burdens that afflict the human family; and
WHEREAS, It is a theme suggested for consideration at the coming Baptist meeting in Stockholm in July next; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That members of this body who attend the Stockholm gathering are hereby requested to use all available and proper means to have the Baptist World Alliance make a clear and concise deliverance on War, which shall be in full harmony with the spirit and teachings of our Lord Christ, as set forth in the Holy Scriptures, and shall be in no wise biased by the demands of this world’s governments.
