WHEREAS, The promotion of pornography destroys the moral fiber of man, and
WHEREAS, The promotion of pornography is in direct contradiction of biblical morality;
Therefore be it RESOLVED, That the messengers of the Southern Baptist Convention meeting in St. Louis, Missouri, June 1980, encourage the Christian Life Commission to continue to develop and disseminate to Southern Baptists helpful materials designed to oppose pornography and remove it from our communities.
