John H. Williams, the assistant treasurer and director of financial planning for the Southern Baptist Convention’s Executive Committee has served as Convention manager for 15 years. He has done the hard work of contacting convention bureaus, auditorium managers, hotel representatives, union stewards, and countless other people who have provided convention facilities. He has managed the endless details involved in operating the Convention. He has made thousands of friends and has created a most favorable impression for Southern Baptists. We express our gratitude to Mr. Williams for his services and wish him and Mrs. Williams great happiness in their retirement.
