God called Paul to leave a comfortable ministry position on the East Coast to share the gospel and plant a church in a place with extremely limited gospel witness. Gospel Grace Church in Salt Lake City played a crucial role in supporting the Campbells as they transitioned to Utah and established their own church, Gospel Peace.
Logan is in the Cache Valley, a region of about 150,000 people, where fewer than one percent of the population are evangelical Christians. Most of the residents are Mormon. Logan is also the home of Utah State University, making it a strategic location with a potentially global ministry impact.
Recently, God connected a curious Mormon couple with Gospel Peace Church. They started attending during the church’s very first Sunday. The couple began asking serious questions about what the church believed about their faith in Christ alone. A year later, the church baptized the couple as new believers in Jesus.
Our church helps missionaries like the Campbells and Gospel Peace Church reach people in Utah like the Mormon couple who came to faith in Christ.
Pray that God will help Gospel Peace Church to find a permanent home so they can continue to reach their neighbors for Jesus.
