Gabriel met Jesus on a soccer field. A missionary sponsored his team—with one condition: they’d study the Bible together. That encounter changed Gabriel’s life and led to his call to ministry.
Now a national ministry director, Gabriel works closely with IMB missionary Matt Clay to develop strategies for evangelism and discipleship. Gabriel has implemented training materials Matt provided to help move new believers from hearing the gospel to growing in it.
They spend “With Me” time together—intentional hours in the Word and out in the community. They always invite someone else to join them, multiplying ministry as they go.
Through Bible storying and personal witness, Gabriel sees people coming to faith and hungering for God’s Word. Both men are grateful for their partnership. “We’re all better together,” Matt says.
Through the Cooperative Program, Southern Baptists support long-term partnerships that equip national leaders like Gabriel to impact their communities.
Pray for continued multiplication through Gabriel’s ministry and for the gospel to reach every corner of his country.
