Landon & Megan Williams

It took a flight, a ferry, a truck ride, and a hike on foot—but for IMB missionary Landon Williams, it was worth every step. He and his team are committed to reaching 40 hard-to-access islands in Chile, holding fast to Isaiah 42:4: “The coastlands will wait expectantly for His instruction.”

Joined by a Kentucky pastor and a Chilean missionary, Landon recently surveyed these remote communities to explore how to bring them the gospel. He and his wife, Megan, are passionate about mobilizing churches in Santiago to reach the unreached—believing that together, Chilean believers can fulfill the Great Commission.

Landon encourages local pastors to see their role in reaching even the most distant coastlines. Lives can be changed, but it will take perseverance and faith.

Through the Cooperative Program, Southern Baptists help send missionaries like the Williamses to reach isolated communities with the gospel.

Pray for Chilean pastors like Rodrigo to lead with vision, for remote churches to be strengthened, and for fruitful ministry across the islands.
