A couple of years ago, Jacob and Julie Stanley, missionaries in an island nation in the Asia Pacific Rim, partnered with local believers to stage a dramatic presentation of Jesus’ miracles, death, burial, and resurrection in public spaces around town. Local believers filled all 24 roles in the cast, portraying Jesus, Pilate, narrators, and others, making it a unifying experience for local churches.
Initially, the drama was performed in a church parking lot. Later, God opened doors for a performance in a neighborhood where the street was closed for the event. Last year, they took the drama to a mall where more than 1,000 people watched throughout the day.
The Stanleys have seen encouraging results: local churches uniting, believers gaining experience in sharing the gospel, and opportunities to plant seeds of truth among those who have never heard.

When our church gives through the Cooperative Program (CP), we help international missionaries like the Stanleys go and make disciples to the uttermost parts of the earth.
Pray for the Stanleys and other Southern Baptist missionaries who are taking the gospel to sensitive and sometimes dangerous places in the world.
