IMB missionaries Hun and Eunjoo Sol are reaching the next generation in Seoul, a city with 48 universities and a rising mental health crisis among young adults. Suicide is one of the leading causes of death for South Koreans in their teens, 20s, and 30s—and fewer young people are involved in church.
The Sols are praying boldly: to plant a church on every university campus by 2028.
Their ministry center—funded through Southern Baptist generosity—hosts church plants, English conversation groups, and THinK, a trauma-healing ministry that provides a listening ear and gospel hope. Through this work, students find healing, community, and Christ.
The Sols see their mission as equipping young believers, planting churches, and raising up future missionaries from among Korea’s youth.
Through the Cooperative Program, Southern Baptists help reach the next generation in South Korea with the hope of Christ.
