Greg Gibson and his family planted Nations Church in Washington, D.C.—a city where the nations have already come. Their congregation includes people from Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Ethiopia, Korea, China, Columbia, Peru, and Vietnam.
“Our vision is to reach the nations by loving our neighbors,” Greg says. Nations Church regularly invites international pastors from D.C. to share how God is at work among their ethnic communities.
“If we can plant churches here, we believe God may use us to help plant churches globally as well,” Greg shares.
Just weeks after their public launch in March 2024, Nations Church sent its first overseas missionary to Warsaw, Poland, to serve Ukrainian refugees. The church is already living out its goal of being a multiplying church—locally and globally.
Through the Cooperative Program, our church helps support gospel-centered multiplication through churches like Nations.
Pray God will bless Nations Church to grow and that they can plant numerous churches locally and globally.
