In this global, Central Asian city are immigrants sleeping on dingy floors, troubled youth escaping into the shadows of gaming salons, and minority groups struggling to find acceptance. Global worker Erik White* sees a lot of beauty here, but what God continues to show him are neighborhoods filled with people in desperate need of the Gospel.
The reality is that there are few believers here, only about 0.01% of the population follows Jesus. Millions walk the city streets without knowing the Savior. Using social media and building one-on-one relationships with locals, a team made up of White, other global workers, and local ministry partners have piqued interest for locals to learn more about the Gospel. And as such, people are coming to faith in Jesus.
