Danilo Miranda moved quickly through the Rio de Janeiro airport, en route to a Global Sender’s forum. An unexpected blessing that day was encountering a newly commissioned Brazilian missionary headed to Africa. The two embraced and prayed together. Danilo felt joy, knowing his encouragement had played a role in his friend’s journey as a global missionary partner.
Danilo’s passion for missions began as a teenager when he was discipled by IMB missionary Mark Johnson. After seminary in the US, he and his wife, Catherine, returned to Brazil to work among Indigenous peoples.
Danilo believes in the power of partnership to fulfill the Great Commission. Now, he trains churches and conventions in Brazil to become effective senders. Whether speaking with students or pastors, Danilo encourages them to consider their role in spreading the Gospel worldwide.
The Cooperative Program (CP) takes the Gospel to the nations and the neighborhoods. Your financial support through the Cooperative Program allows missionaries and church planters to fulfill the Great Commission call God has placed on their lives.
Lord, continue to encourage and empower Danilo as he helps equip others to become global partners for the sake of the Gospel.
