Daniel Estrada was leading a successful church in Miami, Florida, when he received a call from a pastor search committee in Oregon. Despite being initially uninterested, Daniel and Mary prayed for God’s will, and the Lord made it clear He wanted them to revitalize El Buen Pastor (The Good Shepherd) in Oregon.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, God opened a door for El Buen Pastor to start a new campus in Vancouver, Washington. In November 2020, Daniel and Mary led three families to start a small group in Battle Ground, Washington. Soon after, the Estradas moved to Vancouver.
El Buen Pastor’s Vancouver campus has grown into a congregation of 100, reaching primarily first- and second-generation Hispanics. Daniel describes the church’s story as one where God uses ordinary people to advance His kingdom in one of the most spiritually needy regions of North America.
The Cooperative Program (CP) takes the Gospel to the nations and the neighborhoods. Your financial support through the Cooperative Program allows missionaries and church planters to fulfill the Great Commission call God has placed on their lives.
Pray that El Buen Pastor (The Good Shepherd) Vancouver will continue to reach the community with the Gospel.
