Daniel & Jill

For 16 years, IMB missionaries Bill and Phyllis served rural communities in Northern Africa and the Middle East by providing access to clean water—drilling wells and installing spigots in places closed to the gospel. But when they neared retirement, there was no one to continue the work.

God had someone in mind: their son Daniel and his wife, Jill.

Living in Oklahoma and running a tractor dealership, Daniel and Jill had often helped during visits to the field. After one visit, they sensed a clear call to missions. Along with their four children, they completed missionary training and spent a year learning the water-access ministry firsthand.

“God gave us a love for the people,” Daniel said.

The IMB continues to pray for new workers like Daniel and Jill—those willing to plant their lives among the lost.

Through the Cooperative Program, Southern Baptists send missionaries to continue the gospel work for generations.

Pray for more families to answer God’s call and serve where the gospel is not yet known.
