God’s call doesn’t fade with time. Clark and Lois Branch know that well.
Though they sensed a call to missions early, they waited 13 years before going overseas. After 15 fruitful years on the field, they returned to the U.S., where Clark pastored for 14 years—and recovered from open-heart surgery.
Then, God nudged them again toward international missions. Expecting a “No,” they applied anyway, believing faithfulness meant simply being willing.
To their surprise, the IMB said “Yes!”
“God’s calling, we’re spiritually prepared, healthy, and willing to go,” Clark said.
Now, the Branches serve as Member Care Consultants in Southern Africa, walking alongside missionaries to ensure they stay spiritually and emotionally healthy—so they can carry the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Through the Cooperative Program, Southern Baptists support missionaries like the Branches who care for those on the front lines of gospel work.
Pray for strength and wisdom as Clark and Lois encourage and equip missionaries across Southern Africa.
