Years ago, a Hindu student stopped Clarissa Morrison on campus and asked her to pray for him. She had helped him adjust to life in the U.S., and he sensed that her God was powerful. “I never saw him come to Christ,” Clarissa says, “but I still pray for him.”
That moment shaped her calling. Clarissa has since dedicated her life to campus ministry, discipling students to love God and the nations. She encouraged them to build friendships with internationals, reminding them they might carry the gospel back to their home countries.
Clarissa has traveled the world with students, helping send them to the nations. Now, she’s the one being sent—as a newly appointed IMB missionary to serve among university students in Montreal, Canada.
Through the Cooperative Program, Southern Baptists help send missionaries like Clarissa to reach the nations on university campuses.
Pray for Clarissa as she begins her ministry in Montreal, and for students to respond to the gospel with bold faith.
