Andy and Tabitha Daniel planted Mercy Gate Church in Box Elder, South Dakota, near Ellsworth Air Force Base. Their diverse community includes active and retired military, the Lakota Sioux, and many others.
Since launching in 2022, they’ve celebrated over 100 baptisms—about 40 of which were Lakota Sioux individuals. Reaching Lakota men remains a deep burden and focus of their prayers.
The Daniels also began a homeless ministry in Rapid City. What started with outreach teams has grown into a Sunday bus ministry that brings a dozen homeless individuals to church services each week, followed by a meal. Many are now showing signs of spiritual growth and a hunger for the gospel.
Through the Cooperative Program, our church supports missionaries like the Daniels as they bring the love and hope of Jesus to those often overlooked.
