WHEREAS, Our historic and scriptural position concerning the plan of salvation has been misunderstood, and hence misquoted; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we reaffirm our belief, that salvation is secured through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that in the plan of salvation repentance, philosophically and scripturally, uniformly precedes faith.
