Resolution On Cooperation With Other Baptists

On motion of J. N. Prestridge, Kentucky, the following resolution was adopted:

We rejoice that in the United States and other countries a general desire has been expressed among Baptists to hold a Pan-Baptist Conference, for the purpose of discussing matters of vital interest to the denomination.

RESOLVED, THEREFORE, That a committee of one from each State within the bounds of the Southern Baptist Convention be appointed to cooperate with the Council of the Great Britain and Ireland Baptist Union, which has officially endorsed the movement, and with such committees of other general Baptist bodies as may be appointed for this purpose.
