Among the conscientious objectors working in civilian camps under the supervision of the National Service Board are 22 members of Southern Baptist churches. These young men are supported by voluntary gifts from individuals, churches, and other religious groups. The National Service Board sends a request that the Convention authorize the Secretary of the Executive Committee to receive and transmit such voluntary contributions as may be sent to him for the support of these young men. We recommend that the request be granted and that the Secretary of the Executive Committee be so authorized.
