WHEREAS, The professed Christian who makes any attempt to personally lead a soul to Christ is the exception to the rule among church members, and the statistics of our churches show a lamentably small number of conversions when compared with the number of church members, to lead sinners to the blessed Christ;
Therefore, be it RESOLVED, That this Convention urge on all our churches and pastors that, as fundamental to the Christian life, the purpose and the work of our churches, they most zealously train each member of our churches to the apostolic teaching and example of personal soul winning of individuals to Christ.
