WHEREAS, Oklahoma State Baptist College, owned and controlled by the Baptist Convention of Oklahoma, is in great financial peril;
WHEREAS, Under legal judgments held by creditors, the campus and buildings will be sold not later than the first day of August, this year; therefore,
RESOLVED, That we, the messengers of this Convention, do hereby express for the Baptists of the State of Oklahoma our profound sympathy in this matter; and that we entertain the hope that they shall be successful in their efforts to pay off the debts, save the college and also preserve the honor and protect the good name of the Baptist people of that State.
