In regard to the resolution on the seating of Canadian messengers offered by Brother R. E. Milam of Washington-Oregon, we, your Committee on Resolutions, feel that in view of the proposal to amend the constitution, presented to the Convention by Marshall Smith of Texas, relative to the seating of messengers from Canadian Baptist churches, which amendment is to be voted upon at the 1959 Convention, that we not take any action that would prejudice a vote on that matter.
