The messengers of the one hundred fifth meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention have noted with gladness of heart and gratitude to God the progress of cooperating Baptist work in the Pacific Coast area.
WE RECOGNIZE the tremendous challenge of this area with its rapidly expanding population, developing industry and increasing political significance.
WE PAUSE to commend pioneer Southern Baptist leaders, both those now toiling and those preceding them, for their sacrificial effort, measureless dedication, and untiring service to present Christ to lost men and establish New Testament evangelical churches.
WE PRAY God’s choicest blessing on the churches, their members and leaders, as they continue to labor in this field white unto harvest.
