WHEREAS, Our 53 hostages have been held captive now for many months in Iran, and
WHEREAS, American efforts to secure the release of these have been unsuccessful to date,
Therefore be it RESOLVED, That we urge our people to be much in prayer for the hostages, their families, President Carter, and his advisors.
Be it further RESOLVED, That we pray that God would work a miracle by opening the hearts of Ayatollah Khomeini, all the leaders in Iran, and our leaders in the United States to work out a positive solution for the release of the hostages.
