WHEREAS, The Southern Baptist Publication Society has published a hymn book entitled “The Baptist Psalmody,” which by its evangelical character and general excellence is eminently adapted to the purpose for which it was prepared; and whereas the extensive circulation of the book will contribute materially to the treasure of the Society:
RESOLVED, That the Baptist Psalmody be recommended to the churches to be used in offering their songs of praise to the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
