That we hereby reaffirm our unalterable opposition to and condemnation of lynching and would urge upon the pastors and churches in cooperation with the Convention to do all in their power to create and maintain a wholesome public sentiment against this form of lawlessness and give their hearty support to the courts and law enforcement officials both in the protection of all persons charged with crime against mob violence and in the faithful and just administration and enforcement of law against all forms of crime.
