WHEREAS, The Judson Memorial Church of New York city, which commemorates the life and work of the great American missionary, Adoniram Judson, is in dire distress; and
WHEREAS, A committee has been formed to raise $300,000 to save and perpetuate this living memorial in the great metropolitian gateway of America, a memorial founded by the son of the pioneer Baptist Missionary, and where he was pastor until his recent death; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That we the members of the Southern Baptist Convention to whom the name of Judson is ever dear, hereby express our sympathy for this cause and heartily endorse the purpose of this committee.
