WHEREAS, The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina at its last session, by resolution endorsed the establishing of a Baptist Assembly Grounds in Western North Carolina, and invited the Southern Baptist Convention to endorse the movement: and
WHEREAS, Such grounds have been established in the Swannanoa Gap of the Blue Ridge Mountains, east of Asheville;
RESOLVED, That at the request of the North Carolina Baptist State Convention, the Southern Baptist Convention does hereby endorse the movement without assuming any financial responsibility.
