We are grateful to God for his gracious providence which has brought Southern Baptists to Dallas for the 1965 Convention. The number of messengers has exceeded all previous records. The sessions have been good and profitable.
We express our appreciation to the people of Dallas who, in typical Texas fashion, officially and unofficially, from the mayor to the man on the street, have been friendly, hospitable and accommodating. The Committee on Arrangements put forth every effort for our comfort and convenience.
We owe a great debt of gratitude to the press, radio, and television for their interesting, balanced and factual coverage of all sessions.
We salute Dallas and Texas Baptists and pray God’s great grace to be upon them as they “increase with the increase of God.”
