RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
We, your Committee on Resolutions, wish in behalf of the Southern Baptist Convention to express our abiding sense of gratitude to Dr. Roland Q. Leavell for his monumental labors in behalf of the New Orleans Seminary and this Convention. We regret that illness has compelled his retirement as President of the Seminary, and we have sorely missed his wise counsel, genial spirit, and presence at this Convention. We assure him of our love and gratitude. We pray God’s richest blessings upon him always and in all ways.
