WHEREAS, It is proposed to erect in Washington City, the national capital, a great Baptist house of worship, to be known as the Roger Williams Memorial Baptist church, in honor of our great apostle of religious liberty; therefore,
RESOLVED, That we extend to the brethren who have this matter in hand our heartiest approval and sympathy in this noble undertaking.
