Mathew and Tracy Mueller started Valley Life Church of North Phoenix to reach a new, quickly growing community in metro Phoenix. In many ways, it is a typical suburban community that’s affluent and family oriented.
The church hosts a number of community-based events to intentionally reach local families, such as movies in the park and neighborhood Easter egg hunts, partnering with local homeowner associations to accomplish this goal.
Events like these have resulted in life change. Such is the story of one gentleman whose sister-in-law invited him to Valley Life Church of North Phoenix. Previously, he had only attended church on Christmas and Easter. When he heard the Gospel at Valley Life, it was the first time he truly understood it. Eventually, he repented of his sins and placed his faith in Jesus. In time, two of his stepchildren came to Christ as well.
