Jared never expected to become a church planter. In fact, he had never even thought about it before a conversation with his pastor in 2020. But, as he prayed about the possibility, God made it clear that he wanted Jared and Desiraye to start a new church near Cincinnati.
God led the couple to an eclectic neighborhood in desperate need of restoration. To reach the neighborhood, Jared has drawn from his background as an educator and connected with the local elementary school. The church has built relationships with the children and staff by meeting practical needs and sharing the Gospel.
A Kentucky partner church recently sent mission teams to work with the church to refurbish the teacher’s lounge, the staff workspace, and the staff restrooms. As the teachers returned to school after summer break, they were amazed by the church’s generosity.
