Allie White

Women in the slum brothels of Kampala, Uganda learned that God had not forgotten them after missionary Allie White pointed down an alley and asked, “What is this place?”

That particular alley housed the most brothels in the area and local believers avoided it at all costs. Soon, however, White and other Ugandan Christians prayed for God to open doors for sharing the Gospel in this area. They started a Bible study and six attended the first day. The second week, 60 women came, many giving their lives to Christ.

This outreach even changed the hearts of local believers who chose to step outside of their comfort zones and into hard-to-reach places in order to minister to these women.

The Cooperative Program takes the Gospel to the nations and the neighborhoods. Your financial support through the Cooperative Program gives missionaries the resources they need to minister to the “least of these” and inspire local believers to do the same.

Pray for the continued service of Christians in the slums of Uganda and ask God to deliver more women out of prostitution and into an eternal relationship with Him.
