WHEREAS, We believe that our sufficiency for the great and difficult tasks before us is only in God, and that God works in answer to prayer,
Be it RESOLVED, That we set apart Friday, June 1, 1923, or a day as near that as possible, as a day of prayer, and that we request all our pastors and churches to spend that day together in prayer, with exposition of Scripture and testimony concerning prayer, beseeching God to give us in His own way the money to pay our debts and enlarge the work for the glory of Christ.
