WHEREAS, The messengers of the 139th annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention have enjoyed the kind hospitality of the people of New Orleans; and
WHEREAS, The Southern Baptists of the New Orleans area have made thorough preparation and extended themselves generously in meeting the needs of our convention; and
WHEREAS, The President, officers, committees, and platform personnel have guided the affairs of this convention with dignity and a Christlike spirit; Now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the messengers to this the 139th annual session of the Southern Baptist Convention, express our profound gratitude to all those whose efforts have contributed to the gracious spirit, evangelistic impact, and effectiveness of this annual meeting.
