In Birmingham we have seen on every hand evidences of thoughtful and careful preparation for the entertainment of Southern Baptists and the efficiency of this Convention. We voice our appreciation to the churches, the city administration, the Chamber of Commerce, the citizenship, and the institutions of Birmingham; to the faithful committees that have toiled unselfishly and unceasingly for the welfare of this Convention; to the press and the radio; to the Sunday School Board for its notable contribution to the Convention program; to the officers of this body; to the song leaders and musicians who have inspired us by the messages in song; and to any and all others who have, in any way, contributed to the success of this epochal meeting of Southern Baptists.
