2. Resolved, That we approve and commend the action of the United States Senate in ratifying the multilateral Briand-Kellogg Peace Treaty; that we rejoice in the outlawry of war embodied in this treaty; that we condemn recourse to war for the solution of international controversies and we pledge our support to the government in this renouncement of war and in seeking by every worthy and legitimate means to promote and maintain permanent international peace.
