Every year, nearly 200 Southern Baptists are chosen to serve in various roles throughout the Convention. Some of these positions are filled by presidential appointment, but many are selected by the Committee on Nominations. You can assist in this process by nominating fellow Southern Baptists to serve in various roles. One thing to keep in mind is that many of the positions require someone to be a member of a Southern Baptist church in a defined state or territory for at least three years prior to serving in the role.
