We are seeking an enthusiastic leader of leaders with a passion to reach young families and their children with the gospel. The Pastor of Children and Young Families will be direct report to the Lead Pastor. The ideal candidate will exhibit an enthusiasm to invest in the overall Kingdom efforts of FBC Longview and to grow the Children's Ministry into a central strategic growth generator within our church and community.
Eligible candidate should meet the following requirements:
-Saving faith in Jesus Christ as Lord
-Agreement and alignment with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 (and expanded statements on detail desc.)
-Able to articulate a call to vocational gospel ministry
-Commitment to continued personal and spiritual growth
-Value excellence, initiative, education, innovation, and optimism
-Operate as a team player
-Hunger for success to be motivated as a self-starter
-Experienced in children's ministry and/or elementary childcare either through employment or as volunteer
