Started in 1998 with a passion for missions and reaching our community, Christian Fellowship Baptist Church is located in the heart of historic New England, one hour north of Boston, one hour west of the ocean, and an hour and a half south of the White Mountain and Lakes regions. Local population is approximately 57,000. Our church is small, but warm and friendly.
We are seeking a bi-vocational pastor with the ability to help us grow back to the point where we can have a fully funded pastor. The church's financial operation is based on a proportional system whereby the pastor's salary is 40% of weekly giving to the general fund.
Sunday morning attendance averages in the mid-forties, but we have a lot of room to grow. The church currently has a part-time interim pastor and volunteer ministry staff. The building is in good condition and we have no mortgage. There is ample parking and room to expand. Air -conditioned auditorium easily seats several hundred people.
Our church is known for its conservative behavior and music, while giving a clear presentation of the Gospel. One of our struggles has been not seeing more people surrender to serve the Lord in the church ministries.
The church is affiliated with the New Hampshire Baptist Association, Baptist Convention of New England, and Southern Baptist Convention with a history of strong pastoral involvement in those organizations.
Please send resumes to Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, 5 Rockingham Road, Londonderry, NH 03053 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Correspondence should be addressed to the attention of Correspondence Secretary.
The primary requirement is that this be the man God has chosen to be our pastor. We expect him to be committed to Southern Baptist principles and programs and to be in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We prefer some seminary training but are willing to accept a commitment to further education. He must preach the Word of God clearly, with conviction, and with the goal of reaching unbelievers and nurturing the faith of our church family. We need him to relate well with all age groups and to have an interest in being involved in the community.
Titus 1:6-9 is the standard we seek in the man who God sends to Londonderry.
