Ministry Team Role: (45% of the job)

Our church uses teams for our key ministry areas (Children, Youth, College, Sunday School, Women’s, Men’s, etc) to accomplish the work of the ministry. The pastor of ministry teams is an equipper who provides ideas, oversight, accountability, and follow up for each of these teams. The role is to equip and delegate the ministry to the teams, not to do the ministry. This role also has a bird's eye view of all our ministries to foster cooperation throughout the ministries of the church.

Worship Ministry Role: (40% of the job)

Our worship ministry seeks to saturate our services with God’s Person and Work while fostering an atmosphere that frees people to respond in biblically faithful ways. We run from performance and towards authenticity. We value content rich songs as our highest consideration. Within that framework we are a blended church that is mostly contemporary. See this page for more of our vision and values in worship: The worship pastor will seek to engage the congregation and lead them deeper into worship. He will also oversee & plan the worship service in partnership w/ the pastor while bringing ideas and creativity to the table. This role includes but is not limited to overseeing the A/V ministry, as well as, leading rotations of vocalists and band members. There are weekly practices to prepare for Sunday services, as well as, occasional special events to manage.
