In the year 2000, the Cooperative Program marks its 75th Anniversary, and to celebrate this historic event, we are pleased to announce a national emphasis. Partners in the Harvest is, first of all, a celebration, recognizing the Cooperative Program's history and accomplishments, and the men and women who have taken the message of salvation to a lost world.

But perhaps more importantly, Partners in the Harvest casts a new vision for Southern Baptist missions. As we enter the 21st century, the need for missions has never been more acute, the opportunity never greater. With all of our evangelistic emphasis, there are still millions who have never heard the name of Jesus. To help meet this critical need, we want to launch what could be the greatest missions effort in Southern Baptist history: Partners in the Harvest. We need your help, your prayers, your financial support, but most of all, we need your commitment to lead your church in this important endeavor.
