Southern Baptist Convention

Our church was started in 1845. We have continued to be mission minded over the years. Our worship services are traditional. We are experiencing tremendous growth and would love to have you come and join us for worship. Our mission is to reach the unchurched and the lost in Johnson County and all the world for Christ. The vision for this church is to build and develop the kingdom of God by reaching the lost and unchurched of all ages in Mountain City/ Johnson County. Our methods may change but the message of the Gospel will stay the same. Our vision is to encourage and equip believers to have a strong prayer and devotional life. Our vision is discipling and teaching believers how to live the truths of God’s Word, being actively involved in missions locally and around the world, and providing recreation and fellowship in a Christian environment. We do this not for our praise, but for the praise and the glory of God. Our mission is to Exalt the Savior, Edify the Saints, and Evangelize the Sinner!
