Southern Baptist Convention

Emmanuel Baptist Church was established in 1950 to serve north central Raleigh. Our location is convenient to downtown Raleigh and supports a growing and vibrant population. For over five decades Emmanuel has faithfully served the surrounding community by being committed to guide people to a relationship with Jesus, to join His church, and to glorify God in their lives through Bible study, prayer, worship, and missions. We have Sunday worship and Bible study for all ages. We have focused youth and children activities on Sunday evenings with youth Bible study and Awana for the children. Wednesdays’ events begin with fellowship during supper followed by Bible study for adults and youth, children’s choir, and adult choir practice. Whether you are a college student, single, married, divorced, or a senior adult, we offer a place for you to get involved, build community, and grow in your walk with Christ. We encourage all to come join us for spiritually enriching experiences and to see what God will lead us to do for Him, today, and tomorrow.
