Hawesville Baptist Church is a regional congregation on the Ohio River with two campuses in Kentucky (Hawesville) & Indiana (Crossroads Tell City) and membership in five counties. We are blessed to be located in the heart of Hancock County (Hawesville, KY). We are in the middle of Lewisport, KY, Hawesville, KY, Breckinridge County, KY, Cannelton, IN, and Tell City, IN. Spanning the Ohio River within view of our Hawesville campus is a bridge connecting Kentucky and Indiana. Our circle logo represents that intersection, as the three roads go out from our church into the main areas of our communities. All of those roads lead to the cross. At HBC, our goal is to bring people to salvation in Christ and send them out to reach others for his glory. We would love to invite you to join us at 290 Main St. We meet every Sunday morning for worship at 9:00 in our Family Life Center (you’ll see the signs). Here’s a little of what you’ll experience when you come: At Hawesville, our desire is to be and to raise up a generation #ALLin for Christ. In order to move toward that vision, we have a threefold, continuing mission of Exalting God through Worship (#WholeHeartedly), Equipping the Saints through Relationships (#BetterTogether), and Engaging the World through Ministry (#OnMission). Hardly anything in life is more important than regular worship attendance at a local church. We were created to give God glory. Therefore, everything we do, whether in corporate worship or in everyday life, we do #WholeHeartedly, “as to the Lord." Relationships matter. We need fellow believers in order to “bear one another’s burdens.” That’s why we strongly encourage you to get in a Sunday School class or a Wednesday discipleship group, so that we might “encourage one another toward good works.” You will get to know others who are at similar life stages and will develop meaningful relationships along the way. To find out more information, check out our weekly bulletins or simply call, message, or email us about both Sunday School and small group classes. We would love for you to connect with Dave Cook, our Pastor of Worship & Discipleship (email@example.com). We are #BetterTogether. Because God has loved us, we are called to love another, both inside and outside church walls. Each of us have received spiritual gifts from our Creator. At Hawesville, we hope to make every effort to help you unleash those gifts to bless others for God's glory. #OnMission During the school year, our kids meet on Wednesday evenings in the Hawesville Family Life Center (FLC) for the New Creature Show (ages 3-5th grade), an animated, Bible-based curriculum created by our Pastor of Administration & Outreach, Mark Ayers (firstname.lastname@example.org). Our Student Ministry, The Bridge (6th-12th grade), meets on Sundays (5:30-7:00) and Wednesday evenings (6:00) in the FLC for a time of games, recreation, and discipleship. For more information, please see our Pastor of Students, Jacob Johnson (email@example.com). We pray Hawesville is a place for you and your family, and hope to see you soon!
