Greetings from Pastor Jeff Burns: At Trinity Baptist Church, We are Family. You won't get lost in a crowd here. There are plenty of loving folks of all ages who will meet and greet you; Praise & Worship the Lord with you; Fellowship with you; Minister with you and to you; And always send you home with a smile and a hug. We are one of the most loving, caring, and “down to earth” churches in the East Central Alabama region. We are a church with a rich history and heritage. However, we believe our greatest days lie ahead. Building on the groundwork and foundation of the past, our church is currently striving forward toward a new & dynamic future. At Trinity Baptist Church, we are not perfect. We are sinners, saved by the grace of God. We endeavor to be like our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on a daily basis. We extend open arms to people from all walks of life. We are a relaxed and casual church, so come as you are. We are also open to people of all races, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Come and experience the difference Trinity Baptist Church can make in your life. You'll be glad you did. Yours in Christ, Jeff Burns, Pastor P.S. Each individual or family member joining our church has a personal deacon assigned to him, her, or them whose responsibility it is to serve as a "faith friend" and meet spiritual and personal needs. Deacons try to contact their family assignments at least twice per month.
At the end of each service, the Pastor and staff extend an invitation to and help service attenders to make a personal decision to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Following accepting Jesus Christ, new Christians are invited to display their new found faith by participating in a believer's baptism by immersion in the church's baptistry. Babies and children are not received for baptism until the child receives Jesus Christ.
