God's work always begins in the heart. Since the First Baptist Church of Tavares is located in the very heart of central Florida, in a city whose name (Tavares) means "Hub," we can be sure that God intends to move and work in her midst. If you want to be where God works, stop in and visit us during one of our worship services on Sunday (9am, 11am, 6pm). Or come by during the week for our Wednesday night meal and personal spiritual growth classes (Life University). The worship is vibrant and genuine, the fellowship is warm and loving, the dynamic is victorious and celebratory. The Truth of God's Word is proclaimed without compromise. So, come grow with us as we seek to advance God's kingdom, nurture the saints and glorify HIS name.
