Southern Baptist Convention

Northport Baptist Church is a church that is literally a church in the shadow of the Great Smokey Mountains and at the same time it is theologically a church in the shadow of the Cross. We are uniquely located with the Appalachians at our front door and the wide expanse of the Tennessee Valley at our back door. Our doors are open to all, regardless of ethnicity or social status. All are equal at the foot of the cross where the ground is level.

Driving Directions

Leaving downtown Newport traveling on Hwy. 321 (North Street) toward Greenville you would turn left onto Smith Street as if going to City Park. Duncan Street is directly across the street on the right from City Park Grocery. The church is at the top of the hill on the left. We are less than 1 mile from down town.
