Primera Iglesia Bautista is a Hispanic Southern Baptist Church affiliated with the local Corpus Christi Baptist Association (CCBA), the Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT) and the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and has been since its begining. We hold that the Bible is the inspired, infallible and eternal Word of God whose tenets we trust, whose guidance we live by and whose promises we hope in. Salvation is by Grace Through Faith in the person of Jesus Christ and we trust in no other. We observe the Lord's Ordinances of Baptism for Believer only and the Lord's Supper to proclaim His vicarious death, His miraculous Resurrection, His Ascension into Heaven to be seated at the right hand of the Father until His Victorious Return for His Church at a time determined by the the Father.
